Pete Fer Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is a family owned business that was started in 1962, 48 years ago by Pete Fer and is currently being managed and operated by the second generation. The company was built on hard work, honesty and integrity and the utmost of customer service. Today Pete Jr., along with his sister Jennifer, manages the company with the same philosophical characteristics of their father with the hopes and dreams that they will be handing the family business to the third generation in another twenty years.

Pete Fer Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is a complete mechanical contracting company providing plumbing, heating and air conditioning new construction, remodel, service and repair. We provide 24 hour service, seven days a week through our automated emergency dispatch paging system. You will always get a telephone call back in a short period of time and more than likely it will be from one of us, the owners. We are also a certified Backflow Device and Valve Testing company providing testing, repairs and installation of various types of Backflow Devices and Valves throughout Southern California. Even if you have waited to the last minute to get your device or valve tested, give us a call and we will always take care of you. We take pride in owning and operating all of our own equipment and all our employees are licensed journeyman plumbers that have obtained Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC Cards) issued under the authority of the United States Government.

The plumber character was developed by Bruce Day in 1970 to promote the company and has remained a familiar face in their advertising. This postcard sent in 1972, won the John B. Reeves Award from the Chicago Trade Publication for advertising. Bruce Day was just starting his career in illustration when he created the plumber character. His first assignments were from Los Angeles Times and NFL Properties drawing for the game programs and cartoons. Currently Bruce works as a freelance illustrator in the Boise, Idaho area.

The plumber character created in 1970 has been a part of the tradition of Pete Fer advertising through the years.
